The event saluted Wollan-Kriel as they celebrated her 17 years of dedicated service to SAA and her lifetime commitment to the arts with cake and cocktails. The event also announced that the SAAC Board of Directors voted to rename its Arts-In-Education Program (AIE), “The Penny Wollan-Kriel Arts-In-Education Program.” The AIE program provides artists-in-residence and other assistance to area schools to ensure children are exposed to the arts at a young age.
