Elizabeth Ann Seton Program
T
he Elizabeth Ann Seton Program hosted the “Moms Go Back To School” luncheon on August 26 at the Springfield Hilton, as part of their building strong communities ‘one mom at a time’ vision.
The event, chaired by Linda McCandless, Jill Egizii and Helen Renfrow, featured guest speaker Letrice Raaw’el Ware who went from being homeless to being a graduate student, published poet, author and performer. The Elizabeth Ann Seton Program mission is to embrace the sanctity and dignity of life by nurturing pregnant and parenting women. EAS partners with multi-faith congregations and community organizations to provide mentoring support, education and practical assistance to women and their children.
