SPRINGFIELD, IL – The Next 10 will see what’s in store with local youth’s ideas for bettering the community at a pop-up event tonight at White Oaks Mall that aims to inspire and engage local citizens.
This is the sixth and final stop in a six-part series of pop-up events that have brought conversations to unexpected places to encourage a reimagining of how the Springfield area of today could be transformed into the Springfield area of tomorrow.
Over the past six weeks, large-scale animated videos have been projected on the Illinois State Armory, Madison Furniture Co. in South Town, Hoogland Center for the Arts, SpringHill Suites and the Bradfordton grain elevator.
Citizens of all ages are invited to drive by the pop-up event and get inspired about the possibilities for Springfield’s future.
