The Springfield Youth Performance Group Foundation (SYPG), an organization spotlighting young talent from the Springfield area, is excited to announce Snow White on February 25 and 26 at Sacred Heart Griffin Auditorium, 1200 West Washington Street, Springfield. This lively ballet is only one hour in length and is enjoyable for all ages.

Snow White is the story of a kind princess banished to the forest by her wicked stepmother, but she is welcomed into the cottage of seven eccentric but lovable friends. Her whereabouts are made known to the evil stepmother who poisons her with a tainted apple. Snow White is saved by a kiss from her true love. The production features SYPG Studio Company Dancers, Preparatory Dancers, and children from the community including students from the Enos Elementary School Mighty Movers program.

Live shows take place at 2pm and 6pm on February 25 and 2pm on February 26. Tickets are $15 per adult and $10 per child (13 and under), and may be purchased at www.sypgfoundation.org. Children are invited to participate in free activities and crafts in the Enchanted Forest 30 minutes prior to the start of each show.
