Cinderella is inspired by the cherished fairytale classic, in which a girl loses a dancing slipper and finds happily ever after with a prince. This delightfully whimsical ballet blends beauty, humor, and of course, a little bit of magic to tell a story that transcends generations and never grows old. This production is the perfect introduction to ballet for families and young children. Presented in just over an hour to tell the tale, Cinderella will have your children captivated with the arts. The performances will take place on April 13 and 14 at Sacred Heart Griffin Auditorium.
Springfield Youth Performance Group Foundation (SYPG) was founded in the summer of 2005 as a non-profit, charitable organization dedicated to enriching the lives of children through the performing arts. SYPG’s mission is to encourage and cultivate the artistically talented youth in our community
by giving them the opportunity to perform thereby enhancing community awareness and appreciation of the performing arts. SYPG works toward this purpose by targeting excellence in stage performances, arts education, and youth-centered programming that is facilitated by professional
artists.
