Springfield Scene Magazine 2019 Issue 3 (May/June Issue) will be available at The Corkscrew,  Custom Cup, and our office at 1315 W. Lawrence Ave. later this week.   The magazine will be mailed out on Friday to our subscribers.

In our 3rd Issue for 2019, we have profiles of Jennifer Sublett at Girls on the Run, Celeste Pankey of the Dana Thomas House Foundation, Katie Spindell who is a Citizen Diplomat and Lincoln Funeral Re-enactment Curator, and Kathryn Harris, Retired Librarian from the Lincoln Museum and Library as well as a Historic Portrayer.

We also have a feature story on the Springfield Sports Hall of Fame Inductees which includes a profile of Tom Thayer, who spent the past 22 seasons serving as a color analyst on the Chicago Bears radio broadcasts after having played for the Bears for 8 seasons.

ArtScene features a few photos of the current art on display at the SAA Collective in the Hoogland Center.  Nationally recognized artists, Thom Whalen, and Kevin Veara have their work featured at the SAA Collective through 27th.

HomeScene features another beautiful Lake Springfield home   This large elegant home has many features rarely seen in homes at Lake Springfield.

Our beautiful cover model for this issue is Emily Libri-Wetherell.  She recently was hired to be a model for a brewery in St. Louis and we are showing one of the photos taken by Jessica Reid Photography.
