How to attract humming birds:

Remember to change the sugar water frequently especially during the hot days

Don’t use the red dye, just make sure the feeders are red, that will be enough to attact them.

To make their food it’s 4 parts water to 1 part sugar.  Boil the water and stir in the sugar until dissolved.   Let cool and add to your feeder.  

Some of the flower that attract hummingbirds are Bee Balm, Hibiscus, Honeysuckle, Lupine, Foxgloves to name a few.
