Hope, a nonprofit organization headquartered in Springfield, IL is hosting their 13th Annual Style of Hope Fashion Show on Wednesday, September 12th, 2018 at the BOS Center. This event will raise funds in support of Hope’s mission – to cultivate change in the most inclusive environments to encourage each person with intellectual or developmental disabilities to fulfill their individual potential through evidence-based treatment, advocacy and community education.

The Style of Hope brings together local fashion boutiques and the Springfield Ballet Company to create an unforgettable and inspiring runway show featuring community members and Hope students as models. Event guests can expect to find the seasons latest in women’s, men’s, and children’s fashion from boutiques like Bella Boutique, Cabi, Gypsy Soul, Iris & Ivy, Jim Herron, Ltd, Michael Kors, The Wardrobe, and White House Black Market. Also, on Stage, The Springfield Ballet Company will mesmerize guests with a performance from their 90’s Rock Ballet. “Style of Hope has been bringing the community together for a great cause for the past 13 years. We are extremely fortunate to be a part of a strong community that not only supports us, but also believes wholeheartedly in our mission,” said Clint Paul, CEO of Hope.

In addition to the featured show, guests will enjoy 5Flavors gourmet hors d’oeuvres and signature drinks. Silent and live auction items will be available for bid, such as a retro-inspired Schwinn Bicycle (donated by Ace Bicycle Shop) and a Nashville Condo package (donated by Zach and Erin Bromley).

All event proceeds directly benefit the children and families of Hope with this year’s “Fund the Need ” goal of raising money to support a new Hope Vocational Center. Hope’s vocational program currently serves students from both Hope Academy and local school districts, providing them with in-depth assessments and job training. The new center will allow for the addition of more diverse training stations, the opportunity to start new in-house student led business ventures, and the ability for overall program expansion.
