Uptown Friday Night
This long-running, year-round jazz and blues live music series is held weekly at Robbie’s Restaurant on the Old State Capitol Plaza South from 5:30 to 7:30. A 50/50 raffle benefits Arts Council programming.
After a five-month renovation made necessary by flooding at Robbie’s, owner Archer Bailey is re-opening the restaurant! He will host Uptown Friday Night, the Arts Council’s free performance series, starting on November first. As before, the music will run from 5:30 to 7:30 on Friday evenings.
The series offers outstanding jazz and blues, excellent food and drink, and great company – all while supporting the Springfield Area Arts Council
