Bistro Verde, Lincoln Land Community College’s student-led café, will reopen for the fall 2021 semester as Bistro To Go on Tuesdays and Thursdays, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Sept. 14-Nov. 18 (except Nov. 2).
The public is invited to enjoy takeout soups, salads, sandwiches, baked goods and coffee drinks prepared by LLCC culinary arts, baking and pastry, and hospitality students.
The menu, available as of Sept. 7 at www.llcc.edu/bistro-verde, features chef-inspired dishes that are prepared from scratch using high-quality ingredients and finished with creative flair. Kim Carter, an alum of the LLCC culinary program, is serving as executive guest chef instructor.
Once Bistro is open, lunch orders may be placed online at https://orders.cake.net/11205518 or in person. Bistro Verde is located in the Workforce Careers Center on the southwest corner of the LLCC campus, 5250 Shepherd Road.
