African American History Museum Annual Fundraising Gala

The 13th Annual Fundraising Gala of the Springfield and Central Illinois African American History Museum was held on November 8, 2024 at the Northfield Inn Conference Center. The gala, titled “Honoring Our Heritage” presented Heritage Awards to Achie Lawrence, Betty White, Fletcher Farrar, Frank McNeil, and Gail Simpson. For their contributions to the AAHM, two others were honored at the gala, Dr. Ann Abbott-Joseph and Carolyn Farrar.
