“A TableScape Celebration” event was held August 26-28 at Washington Park Conservatory Exhibit Hall.
The event, sponsored by the Springfield Garden Club, featured inspirational table settings by 24 members and special community guests. Those guests included Lincoln Memorial Garden, Springfield Art Association-Collective, Sangamon Watercolor Society, Dana Thomas House Foundation and the Springfield Ceramic and Craft Club. As a fundraiser for their community grant program, the proceeds go to various organizations and schools for their beautification and community garden projects. Last year $4,000 was presented.
