Family centric event will feature music of Tom Irwin
Springfield, Ill. –Jubilee Farm, a 164-acre center for ecology and spirituality sponsored by the Dominican Sisters of Springfield, is hosting their first Spring Fling, on April 30 from 2-6 pm.
Spring Fling is a family-centric event featuring the music of local singer songwriter, Tom Irwin.
Families are encouraged to bring chairs or blanket as well as their own snacks/picnic to enjoy. The Farm gift shop will be open and there will be a fun earth-friendly craft projects for the kids to enjoy.
“We are very excited to offer “Spring Fling” as a family-friendly way to welcome spring’s arrival,” said Farm Director Sr. Rose Marie Riley, OP. “There will be something for everyone: a creative craft projects for the children, the spirit-stirring music of Tom Irwin, opportunity to purchase healthy seedlings for your garden and, of course, enjoyment of the beauty that is Jubilee Farm.”
Jubilee Farm located just west of Springfield, at 6760 Old Jacksonville Rd, New Berlin, IL 62670. A suggested donation for $5/person or $20/family is requested.
