The Roman Cultural Society held its 67th Annual Columbus Day Banquet at Illini Country Club was on Friday, October 11. The banquet was a salute to the Italian American experience in Springfield and Sangamon County. Over 170 attendees enjoyed champaign, dinner and live entertainment. A charitable award of $10,000 was given to St. Patrick’s Catholic School. Tony Spavone from Chicago was the live entertainment for the evening.
